Your therapist spends the first few minutes just feeling where you hold tension. Then they choose the right approach — deep tissue, trigger point, lymphatic work — based on what your body is telling them. You can also receive your massage inside our active salt room, breathing salt air while they work.
You don’t need to know the difference between deep tissue and myofascial release. Your therapist assesses your tension patterns, range of motion, and areas of concern before every session, then selects the right combination of techniques. What your body needs on a Tuesday in March might be completely different from what it needs on a Saturday in June.
Deep tissue and trigger point work for chronic tension, stubborn knots, and the kind of tightness that lingers.
Myofascial release and lymphatic drainage to support recovery, reduce swelling, and improve range of motion.
Nervous system calming techniques that help your body settle out of stress mode and into rest.
Something we love offering: You can receive your massage inside our active halotherapy salt room. While your therapist works, the air carries pharmaceutical-grade salt particles that support respiratory clarity and skin health — two therapies in one quiet session.
Your massage session at Bodhi, step by step.
Check in at the front desk and let us know how you’re feeling. If it’s your first visit, your therapist will spend a few minutes learning about your body — where you hold tension, any injuries, what you’re hoping for. You’ll change into a robe in a private space.
Arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first sessionYour therapist checks in with your tension patterns, range of motion, and areas of concern. From there, they draw on deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, and nervous system calming techniques — choosing the combination that fits what’s showing up today.
Tell your therapist about pressure preferences anytimeThe 60-minute session covers two or three key areas with enough time for whole-body relaxation. The 90-minute session gives your therapist room to work comprehensively — full body with extra time on problem areas. Couples receive side-by-side 60-minute sessions with two therapists simultaneously.
There’s no rush to leave. Change at your pace, drink some water or tea, and let the session settle in. If you want to extend your visit, the salt room or a cedar barrel session pairs beautifully with massage.
Many guests pair massage with a cedar barrel or salt room session“I received a very good and high-quality massage. The therapist was professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. I felt completely relaxed and refreshed afterward. Highly recommend!”— Google Review
“This is not a rushed or routine massage. Every session feels personalized. My therapist knew exactly where I was holding tension before I even said anything. The salt room option makes it even more special.”— Google Review
“Came in with chronic shoulder pain from sitting at a desk all day. After three sessions the difference was dramatic. The 90-minute deep tissue is worth every penny.”— Google Review
“My partner and I did the couples massage for our anniversary. It was the most relaxing thing we’ve done together in years. Dasha was so welcoming. We’re coming back for the cedar barrels next.”— Google Review
Rather than asking you to pick from a menu of massage styles, your therapist blends techniques based on what they feel in your body. They might use deep tissue on your shoulders, myofascial release on your lower back, and lymphatic drainage on your legs — all in the same session. It’s a more intuitive way to work, and it’s how most of our guests prefer it once they’ve experienced it.
You also have the option to receive bodywork inside our active halotherapy salt room. The halogenerator disperses pharmaceutical-grade salt particles into the air while your therapist works. The salt has natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that support respiratory health and skin conditions — so you get two therapies in one quiet session.
